There were other developers across the country who followed suit with the news of our campaign. However, they only offered for a duration of a few months, upto a couple of years.
In light of a similar situation, when the Real Estate Regulatory Act came into force in May of 2017, we took the lead and our project – Unnathi Woods – Phase 7A was the first project in Mumbai and Thane to be registered under the MahaRERA Act, setting the example for all the others to follow. We continued with our mission by also being the first to get all our on-going projects RERA-registered, reinforcing our identity as a transparent brand that delivers the best in quality homes.
The implementation of GST has presented a major problem to all the potential home buyers in the market, as it increases the tax amount that one needs to pay when they buy their dream home in an under-construction development as compared to earlier, Service Tax and VAT, that existed.
So, we at Raunak Group take the initiative to solve the homebuyers GST problem by NOT charging any GST from the 1st March 2018 to all our homebuyers in any of our under-construction development.
